Two novelists discuss the role of the city of Hull in recent fiction, with Local Studies Librarian David A Smith. Christopher Peachment (The Green and the Gold) and Will Davenport (The Painter) have both recently published books which use the city as the backdrop to their fiction and both novels feature fictional accounts of the life of Hull poet Andrew Marvell. | ||
